What should your comic submission to HALO HALO include?

Checklist: Each series will need a cover image, and a description. Each episode will need a thumbnail, storefront image, and link. The preferred format for all graphic assets is JPG.

1. Series cover should be 245 x 355px and 72 DPI

2. Description/about should be in a note or word file, between 50 and 100 words

3. Thumbnail for each episode should be 739 x 420px and 72 DPI

4. Storefront image should be 1500 x 1500px (1:1 ratio) and 72 DPI

   • Include the website link you prefer to use (social, portfolio, storefront) either in the text of your email submission to HALO HALO, or in the word file with your series description

 

File Requirements: Please use the following guidelines for episode pages. Remember to send your episodes as flat JPG or PNG images, not layered files.

1. File dimensions: 1,500px wide maximum and about 4,500px long

   • length can vary, but please ensure you either have a gutter between pages or that your split images line up precisely between pages (see example image)

   • we recommend 1,500px for best resolution, but send your files in whatever resolution you have (e.g. 800px)

2. Pagination: seriesname_ep#_pg#

3. File size: individual files should not exceed 5 MB
